Art Excursions is an important resource for museums, businesses, associations, clubs, and other organizations that offer group tours for members, customers, clients, employees and/or friends.

We are experienced in designing, implementing and hosting customized group tours in The United States, Canada and Europe. We offer everything from an hour-long guided walk or lecture to a multi-day all-inclusive itinerary.

For groups requesting a custom tour for a destination of their choice we charge a non-refundable tour proposal fee that varies depending on the location and duration of the tour. We proceed by interviewing our group contact in order to determine interests, priorities and expectations. We then research and prepare a detailed proposal tailored to the group. This proposal will include pricing, recommendations for venues, special exhibitions and accommodations, plus a working itinerary.

Step-on guiding service in The United States, Canada and Europe is also available for groups who prefer to plan their own itinerary and make their own arrangements for transportation, accommodations, admissions, etc.

Case study I

For a group from Toronto, Jeff Mishur provided a private walking tour of Frank Lloyd Wright architecture in Oak Park, Illinois as well as commentary about Wright and The Prairie Style aboard their coach en route to Oak Park from Chicago.

Case study II

For The Heritage Corridor Community Associates of The Art Institute of Chicago, Art Excursions designed, implemented and hosted a five day tour in Southern California. Art Excursions handled all arrangements for group airfare, accommodations, admissions, private tours, meals and local transportation.

For The League of The Dallas Museum of Art, Art Excursions designed, implemented and hosted a four day tour in Philadelphia. Art Excursions handled all arrangements for group accommodations, admissions, private tours, meals and local transportation.
